“Bodak Yellow” makes the people move.
One Twitter user posted a video of the lively scene, which quickly went viral. “Play ‘Bodak Yellow’ anywhere and a party will start, guaranteed,” wrote MatThe Recording Academy seems to agree. “Bodak Yellow” has been nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song at the 60th annual show.
On Dec. 15, the Bronx bombshell is set to drop her “Bodak Yellow” follow-up, reportedly titled “Cardier Cardi,” off her upcoming debut album. She has also shot a video for “MotorSport” with Migos and Nicki Minaj, which is expected to arrive soon.

The video, which features a bevy of commuters dancing, rapping along, and vibing to the record-breaking hit, quickly became an online sensation. Supermodel Gigi Hadid retweeted the clip, adding: “ made me happy and have fomo I wasn’t there.” But the song has had similar effects elsewhere.

During a recent game, members of the Philadelphia Eagles showed off their team unity with a pre-game dance session to “Bodak Yellow.” Re-sharing that video, Bardi wrote: “Reason why Bodak Yellow is [Grammy] nominated cause no matter how much you front !you turn up like when it comes on.”
